Here's what we've been up to the last few weeks!

On September 5th, which happened to be my birthday, my cute brother took out his endowments to get ready for his mission. It was so neat to see him in the temple. I still can't believe my little brother is old enough to go on a mission. I love him and I am so proud of him.

On September 12th, my cute sister and her husband got their family sealed in the temple. It was amazing. There was not a dry eye in the sealing room. Their three sweet kids looked like little angels all dressed in white! It was such an incredible day, one I will never forget.

What a dang cute family!

On September 15th, my amazing husband celebrated his 30th birthday. I love him so much and I feel so blessed to have him as my eternal companion. He is such a hard worker and is always there for me.

And this past Sunday, the 20th, my brother had his farewell. His talk was so good. He is going to make such a wonderful missionary.

So that's a little of what we've been up to, besides taking care of the kids, taking Chase to and from school, trying to keep my house clean, not feeling the greatest, boy this pregnancy has been hard! And James working and busy with scouts and helping me where needed. Pretty much the usual things we do everyday. All I can say is that I am so ready to have this baby!

James has been so great helping me out with the kids. When he gets home from work, he'll take the kids to the park or to look for lizards to give me a little break. What a great husband and he is the best dad ever. The kids just love their daddy! Chase is loving school and is learning how to read. It's so fun watching him learn. Gracie and Ty play pretty well together while Chase is in school, but they still miss him and want him to come home so they can play.

Here are some cute pictures that James has taken of the kids on some of their outings that I thought I'd share with you all. They are so fun. I just love my kids and I am so excited to meet our new little girl.

I love this picture so much of Gracie looking up at her dad. So sweet!! She sure does love her dad and she loves to tease him too!!

Chase's first day of Kindergarten!

Today was Chase's first day of school! I can't believe he's in kindergarten! Crazy! He was so excited and had a fun time and he really likes his teacher. There are only fifteen kids in his class so that's kind of nice. Gracie and Tyler were excited for him too, but they sure did miss him. They kept asking when it was time to go pick him up.

I am so excited for Chase and that he's a school kid now. But I am glad that he's only gone for a few hours each day. I would miss him too much. He is my big helper and is always willing to help me out when asked. He is such a good boy. I don't know what I'll do next year when he's in school all day.

Here's Chase standing in front of the welcome back sign. So cute!

Chase getting ready to go into the school. He didn't act nervous or scared one bit!

Chase's school does things a little different. They have all the students meet in the gym before school starts and they have them sit and wait for the bell to ring and then each grade is excused one at time to go to their classes. It's pretty organized and our school is so small that it isn't too crazy. There's only about 150 kids in the whole school.

So here is Chase waiting with his friends until the bell rings. He was excited about his new back pack!! How fun!

Where did July go?!

Wow! I can't believe it's August already. July just flew right by for me. We had such a fun and crazy month. We did lots of fun things. On July 6th, James went on a two week business trip to Florida so me and the kids stayed with my sister and her family. It was crazy at times with six kids under the age of five! The kids had a lot of fun playing in the pool, riding bikes, playing with Legos and the girls of course played dress-up! They also were really great at not getting along!! But for the most part they were good!

When James came home, the kids and I went to the airport to pick him up. We were all so excited to see him and glad that he was finally home. It was so hard to be away from James that long. And he has to go away again in a few weeks for another business trip and I'm not looking forward to that. Thank goodness it's for only six days!

On July 22nd, we got together with my family to watch My fun and crazy brother open up his mission call. He's going to Tacoma, Washington and he is so excited! It's going to be hard to have him be gone for so long but I'm happy for him and I'm so proud of him for choosing to serve a mission.

Over the 24th, we had a little Pearson Reunion with my in-laws. It was so fun. They had this huge plastic tarp that everyone used as a slip and slide, played water balloon volleyball, and kick ball and we ate Pizza Plus pizza and bread sticks. My favorite! On Saturday, the 25th, James and I and the kids and my mom and dad in-law went fishing on their boat. It was so fun and relaxing and the kids loved it. Then, on Sunday we went to church with my family so we could be there when my brother got ordained an Elder. It was so neat. We also celebrated my little sister's 7th birthday and my dad's 50th birthday!!

Then, this past Saturday, we celebrated James' grandma's 88th birthday! She is such a sweet lady and we love her so much. Then we went and stayed the night at James' brother's house because they blessed their baby on Sunday. It was a beautiful blessing and my sister-in-law Mandi had the best food ever after wards. She is amazing! We also celebrated my mother-in-laws birthday too since we were all together! We have had so many birthdays, it's crazy!!

So we have been pretty busy doing lots of fun family things. And I'm sure August is going to be just as busy! As for me and the pregnancy, I'm doing great. This little girl sure is wiggly and I love feeling her move and kick. It is the best! I am already so in love with her. It's amazing. As for her name, we are thinking of naming her Anna Kaye. Kaye is my mother-in-law's middle name. It's hard finding names you both like. Anyways, that's probably what her name will be but you never know. I just can't wait to hold her in my arms!! I really need to post pictures of us all. I will work on that!!

Today, our baby girl turns four! Wow! Time sure does fly by. Gracie brings so much joy to our family and we are so grateful for her.

Happy Birthday Sweetheart! We love you!

Yesterday we had our big ultrasound and we are so excited! We found out that we are having a GIRL!! Yeah! And I'm kind of relieved that we're not having twins, although I was getting excited about it. The kids are so excited, especially Gracie! She already is talking about painting the baby's nails just like hers and mommy's!! She is such a girly girl. It will be fun to see if the baby will look like Gracie or not. Anyways, the baby looked really great and We'll probably have a Thanksgiving baby, so that will be fun!!

Two visits to the E.R.! Nice!!

Well, we sure have had a crazy couple of weeks! A few weekends ago, James went to scout camp for a few days and me and the kiddos went and stayed with my sister and her family. We also went to a bridal shower for one of my cousins, which was so much fun even though I was not feeling the greatest. I kept getting really dizzy and lightheaded and kept feeling like I was going to pass out.

So, for the next few days I pretty much could not do a thing without feeling like I was going to pass out. I couldn't even stand long enough to make my kids lunch!! Well, last Wednesday me and the kids were at a friends house making cookies with the Young Women's for a Girls Camp fundraiser, And I wasn't feeling the best and had to keep sitting down. Well, I was sitting there and one of my friends who was being so sweet was giving me a nice back massage and I past out! Luckily my friend caught me. So her and my other friend carried me to the couch. It was crazy! I was okay but didn't feel very good so I just went home and tried to rest. It's been pretty hard too because James has this crazy work schedule for the summer where he works nights and then has to sleep during the day, so I have to try and keep the kids as quiet as I can. Yeah right!

The next day after I past out, I was so sick and had to go to the E.R.! I had really low blood pressure and I was extremely dizzy. So they did a bunch of blood work and gave me some fluids. My blood work came back fine. I wasn't anemic or dehydrated so that was good. And for those that don't know this, when I was twelve weeks I had an ultrasound done and we saw the baby and it looked really good, and then my nurse midwife moved over a little and she said hmm, what's this? And we looked and saw what seemed to be another head but nothing else. It was just a quick ultrasound and it wasn't ever confirmed but there is a possibility that we may be having twins!! And twins does run in the family. My husband is a twin! So back to the e.r., when the e.r. doctor came in to see me, he felt my uterus and said that I was pretty big for only being sixteen weeks. I told the e.r. doc that we MAY be having twins and he said that maybe that is why I past out and am feeling this way is because I have more hormones or something. He wouldn't do an utrasound but did listen to the heartbeat. They only picked up one heartbeat but with twins it can be harder to pick up both. We do have our big ultrasound in a few weeks so we'll find out then for sure if we're having twins!

Then, this past Sunday the e.r. called me and told me I have urinary tract infection and prescibed me an antibiotic. I started taking it this past Tuesday night and when I woke up yesterday morning I had a small rash on my face but didn't think too much of it. So last night my face was getting worse. Burning and itching pretty bad. I figured it was an allergic reaction to the antibiotic I took so I called the e.r. and told them about my face and they said to come right in to get checked out. We all loaded up in the car and headed back to the e.r.! We didn't really want to get a babysitter so the kids just went with us and we didn't really think we'd be that long. We got there and we were in the waiting room and the rash had spread all over my neck and felt like a really bad sunburn. When it was my turn to go back the rash was all over my chest and arms. I was so sick and pretty upset. It sucked! They gave me some Benadryl and some fluids and I felt tons better. And we live clear out in Dugway which is an hour away from Tooele but Tooele's hospital doesn't except our insurance so we have to go to Salt Lake. We didn't get home until 3:40 this morning!!! The kids did so good though! They just played games on my IPhone the whole time and had treats. Lucky them!! We didn't wake up til almost noon today!! I am feeling better but my face still has a rash on it and I am taking some medicine for it. So if this post doesn't make a whole lot of sense that's why, it's because of the meds I'm taking!! LOL! Anyway, what we do to have these babies! It's all worth it even though it can be such a trial! I would do it over and over again!! I am so grateful to even be able to carry a baby and I really have nothing to complain about!! So that's what we've been up to lately. Love you all!!

Monday, May 18, 2009

Well, I'm a little behind on posting! I've been getting these really bad headaches that turn into migraines since getting pregnant so it's been kind of rough! I seem to have a headache every single day!! Not fun! But I'm getting by.

Anyways, a couple of weeks ago, my sweet Chase started T-Ball!! Yeah! He loves it! Although, he doesn't quite get it all the way, he is learning and has a fun time playing, so that's all that matters. He has games every Tuesday and Thursday nights, which are an hour away from our house. Kind of a lot for a five year old! It's fun and Ty and Gracie love to cheer him on!! Here are only a few pictures that we've taken of Chase. So cute!

On May 8th, my cute husband had his graduation! He received his Master's in Electrical Engineering. He has worked very hard and I am so proud of him! The kids thought it was so cool to hear them read their daddy's name! It was so cute! I love my little family!

On May 11, James and I celebrated our anniversary! We've been married for eight amazing years. Wow! That sure did go by fast! I feel like the luckiest girl ever to be married to such a wonderful and accepting man! He is such a great husband and he does so much for me. I know that it may not always be easy for him to be married to someone that has physical limitations but he truly is my strength and he is always lifting me up and encouraging me when I'm down and I am grateful for that. To think, that there was a time in my life that I thought I would never get married and have children! Boy, was I wrong. My Heavenly Father has truly blessed me throughout my life.

I love you James!!
